VTV Breakfast sign

Woke up at 4:30 a.m. to be at the TV studio at 5:30 a.m. for a sound check. Other than that, we had fun!

Lots of alarm clocks on a VTV set wall

(I'm up, already!)
VTV kitchen set

Another part of the VTV set, this is the kitchen where they had a chef cooking up a storm just before we went on, and it smelled like heaven when we came downstairs to sing.
After our soundcheck, we were ushered upstairs to a comfy room with the donuts and coffee that kept us company until it was time to sing. (Just like last summer on the New Day show, I kept having to wipe powdered sugar off Steve's t-shirt!)

VTV Plastic Breakfast
The Breakfast Show runs from 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. weekday mornings, and they re-open the show every half hour, so at 8 o'clock we went on set to sing part of "A Girl Would Have to Be a Fool." At 8:30 we did part of "Cruel Cruel World."

Looking a little tightly wound, there, Luce!
At last it was time to do a full song, the one we came to perform: "Borderline." It went really well, not even nervous! Then close to 9 a.m. they had us close the show with a rousing rendition of "Take it As it Comes."

We gave host Tamara Taggart one of our rockincountryblues.com t-shirts which she held up on-air.

All in all, it was a great experience that we would happily do again!
