Elliott & Lucie Walker Summer Sunset Series Rowing Club, Stanley Park July 30, 2004 |
| Well, talk about a beautiful setting for
a gig!! The Vancouver Rowing Club was an idyllic setting for the Summer Sunset
Series in Stanley Park on Friday July 30th. What a balmy summer evening. We were set up right on the dock, and Rowing Club members were enjoying the music, a bbq, and a spectacular sunset! We wish this was our house gig!! Truly, besides the exquisite view, the highlight of our evening was encountering a group of wonderful French folks! Big thank you and hello to Suzanne, Paul, and Gerald from Montreal, and Sandra, Gordon, France, and Michael from Vancouver. We even shared a teeny bit of French conversation, which, as a misplaced French Canadian, I so appreciate. Steve just rolls his eyes and nods his head, lol. |
