The Roadhouse Eatery
June 11, 2004

Artistic tile job by Steve Elliott... this is the floor at the Roadhouse Eatery in White Rock BC
Steve did this awesome tile job on the Roadhouse floor 4 years ago.
It was great to see it again!!

Great night, a true blast from the past!

Back in '99, Steve & I had a house gig at the Roadhouse Eatery in White Rock for 10 months.

So this show was like old home week for us, and we couldn't have been more delighted!

Thanks so much to all those who came in and made it such a special gig!!

This wouldn't be complete without mentioning Kayla. She was a little 8 year old girl who would come into the Roadhouse with her mother Penny, to hear us play some Thursdays. She used to tell us she wanted to play music too.

Imagine our surprise when this beautiful 13 year old comes up and says, "Do you remember me?" WOW!! We were so happy to see you, and especially happy to hear you just came from your bass guitar lesson. GO GIRL!! ;-)
By the way, sorry to call you Kaylie rather than Kayla... you know us old folks.... ;-) Oh, and you must come back on the 25th because I want a picture of all of us, k?

What a talented guy Steve is

Thanks so much for coming out, it was just wonderful seeing everyone again!
We sure look forward to doing this again at the Roadhouse on June 25th!! Can't wait!!

We'd like to thank Paul Grant and his beautiful wife, Jacqueline, for inviting us back to their farm for a bonfire/jam after our gig. It was just what the doctor ordered for these city folks. Some of us picked tunes and sang songs and Hayley had the marvellous idea to toast up some marshmallows, mmmmmmm. We had brought along our mattress so we camped in our car :-) and the next day we were treated to a lovely visit with a horse I called Mr. Ed but he wasn't talkin' so that can't be it...

Mr Ed horse horse gettin' a scratch from Steve happy horse
