We had so much fun!
Thank you all for celebrating with us!

Ah, wow we felt the lovvvvvvvvve on Tuesday night! We had the most marvelous birthday bash/gig at the Cottage Bistro!
We feel so ~FILLED UP & BLESSED~ today! We had a ball! Weeeee!

The day sure didn't start out like this . . .

We had to find a replacement drummer at the last minute (get well soon, Ivan) and the only trouble with that plan was that we didn't know any! Ha ha! We've been a duo since 1999, and this was to be our 5th go with a band. Thank God our friend, Vancouver singer Leslie Harris (lesismore) generously gave us a list of 8 drummers, one of whom gave us three more names!

Well out of those, we were lucky to find available Darrell Mayes (of Brickhouse, formerly 8 years with Colin James).

After the first tune, I turned around and mouthed "I love you" to Darrell. He was AWESOME!!!
We were in excellent hands, and the rest of the night was nothin' but a GREAT time!

The audience was full of friends, and people in the mood to be friends! It was so warm and fuzzy in there! We played to a very appreciative Tuesday night crowd! We thank you all for coming out and making this a ~perfect~ birthday bash!

We are going to do this again next year! Wanna come?

Unfortunately as you can see, my camera was acting up so lots of shots didn't work out but you get the idea that we had a great time! I regret not taking a picture of the cake! Ok I'm over it!
