B.C.C.M.A.

We had a great time at the B.C. Country Music Association's Keepin' Country Alive show out in Langley on Mar.9. These folks really know how to put on an event! We spent the evening wisely: we joined the B.C.C.M.A!

The B.C. Country Music Association's Mission:
To promote, foster and encourage the development and public appreciation of, and interest in, the British Columbia Country Music community - provincially, nationally and internationally.

Sounds like a hell of a plan!!

Here, check 'em out!

Our March 7th gig at Darby's Pub was a lot of fun! We had a great time performing that night, and our newer songs were very well received. The folks who won t-shirts and CDs were delighted! (We love the raffle part of each gig!) And the manager, Cindy, invited us back to play every few weeks! Thanks to all who made this gig a success!

"This CD has several smash hit possibilities -- commercial, Top 40, mainstream country radio. There's every reason in the world for it to happen."

"Straight Up is a warm, friendly, unpretentious, imminently listenable roots rock Americana album full of roadhouse jump and grab-your-partner, dim-lights, slow-dance tunes that would fit in the Broken Spoke or Ginny's Little Longhorn as well as any of the current Austin faves."

Our Swedish Review Contest is still open!

We've been running this contest so long, we're starting to think it's a lousy review and no one has the heart to tell us what it says!

And no. . . it doesn't say, "Please sit still while I fondle your private parts. . ."

(Good guess, though, Dude. . .)
