We'll be performing at the Harmony Arts Festival
in West Vancouver on Saturday, August 7 at 2 pm!
This is a family festival with a craft fair & music & sunshine! Come on down!

Yay! We just got booked for the Caper's Living Natually Fair!
We will perform a 45 minute set on Sunday September 12 at 2:15 p.m.

Starting the day before, this weekend-long wellness & organic fair
will take over the parking lot of the Robson Street Caper's Store,
filling it with a diverse group of organic farmers, food producers,
vitamin and nutritional experts, etc. and of course, live music!

To date, Capers has raised more than $185,000 for local non-profit groups!

It's a family fun thing to do, with music all afternoon both days.
We really enjoyed doing this gig a couple years ago so we're
really excited to have been invited back!

We have more Cottage Bistro dates coming up!
Mark your calendars for:

Fri Aug 20
Thurs Sept 16
Tues Oct 12 - Steve & Lucie's Joint Birthday Bash
Thurs Nov 18
Thurs Dec 23 - Rockin' Country Blues Christmas Party

Recent Shows

We couldn't have had a better reception than the one we received at
The Lanai Apartments' 2nd Annual Picnic out in Chilliwack on Sat July 24th.
Tons o' pics . . . take a look !

We played the Cottage Bistro on Thurs July 22, and we had Ivan Duben
on drums and David Bridges on bass, and some very dear friends

in the audience, and basically, we were in heaven. So much so that we didn't think to take a single pic. Ah welll....... guess ya had to be there ;-) These two guys played so great together and it was the first time for all of us!

Funny story, some girls walked by while the guys were outside on a break, and they asked, "Excuse me, are 'The Idiots' playing here tonight?"

Brief silence and then everyone said, "Yep!" hehehe (There was another band next door...)

MAN!! We had SO much fun on the Sunshine Coast this weekend!
Have a look, there's lots of pictures!

Saturday afternoon, July 10, we performed at 'More Crumbs' Bakery Cafe in Maple Ridge.
We were really happy to see our friends arrive, then our socks were knocked off when family arrived! Click here to see the kinfolk . . . ;-)

Friday, July 2, we played The Bad Ass Coffeehouse in Pitt Meadows. We've been there a few times now and this time was definitely the best, because it was so busy! They've been promoting Friday night music in there and it's paying off.

We were so delighted to see our friends Harold & Val Evans and their daughter Megan walk in, just in time for our first set! Great to have you guys there.

The audience is everything.
People who are into it, isn't that every musician's dream?
By the second set, the audience was full and warm. It feels so great to share that, to have that exchange. It really was a pleasure!

So far so good, I have magnets in 5 locations now! Bohemia Gallery and Miranda's Hat, both in Vancouver, and Starfire Gallery in Horeshoe Bay, just outside the city.

My magnets, which are of my original paintings, are now selling at
Lilaea, just outside of Nashville Tennessee. The latest news is that they are flying off the display stand at God's Pocket, a scuba diving resort near Port Hardy BC. YAY!!
