| M.C. David C.Jones warmed the crowd with a
fun round of "What's My Line" Before the show, he asked each performer to come up with a little interesting factoid about ourselves that wouldn't have the audience guessing us right away. Mine was "Who recently got a new motorcycle?" And he put his hand above our head one at a time and judged by audience applause. Nobody guessed me for mine, it was funny when I stood up and the place laughed and gasped a bit! Taylor's was that she was Yvonne's landlord a few years ago, and Shiloh's was that she played the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz. Steve's was that his great uncle was the keeper of the Queen's music and wrote the fanfare for her coronation. Not many guesses were right, there was a lot of laughter, and it warmed the crowd. We performed the rip-roarin' banjo tune, Nothin' But the Blues, then we did a ballad, "Closin' Time" then we did "Cruel Cruel World". |
