The Corner Coffee House, New Market, ON

We found an enthusiastic audience at The Corner Coffee House in Newmarket, Ontario. The owner, Jim Hawkins, is an avid supporter of the Arts, evident in the staff he hires. Everyone either paints, sings, acts, writes, you name it! Their art is on display, there are poetry and open stage evenings...this guy is great!
Before our first set and every set thereafter, Jim took the mic and introduced us to what turned out to be a wonderful listening audience (songwriters' idea of a good night).

We were invited back anytime we are in the area, and well, we just might take him up on it! Thanks for a great evening!
From New Market, Ontario, we drove to Bathurst, New Brunswick, where we hung out with my relatives. I hadn't been back in 20 years, so you can imagine the merriment! In every picture from that week in Bathurst, I have an ear-to-ear smile and my arms wrapped around a cousin or an aunt... But alas, it was over too soon, and we had to move on to the next gig. But not before we promised to return our next time through! No problemo!
