| We played two Valentine's dinner shows at the
Roadhouse Eatery on Monday the 14th and it was
such a pleasure to see our friends come into the first dinner seating at 6 pm.

adorable daughters Hayley & Maya; our friends Harold & Val ~
YOOHOOOOOOO HI YOU GUYS!!!!!!!! and our friends John & Lynda
Laird! We made new friends at the 8 pm seating, some lovely folks who made for a great audience, in particular Liz and Daryll, and seated next to them, a great guy named Will. Hope I've got your names spelled correctly... It was great meeting you guys and we hope to see you out at future shows. Come on down when we're playing with the full band! |

We played the Purple Crab
with DUX on Fri, February 11th and all
we got was this lousy photo... ;) (Paging Mr. Brian Beesley... Brian Beesley... please report to the office . . . Beesley...? Beesley...? Bueller...?) Dude, this is proof we need you at the gigs, Man! Look at this blurry shot! Love these guys, l-r Mike Horne & Garry Sullivan aka DUX... but will they love meeeee after this shot?? It was great to see our pal
Sandy Landrigan walk in :) and we were happily surprised to see Dale Rollings
back from New Zealand! Towards the end of the evening, we had the pleasure of
meeting a couple guys we really enjoyed chatting with,
Aaron & Keith,who we hope to meet again down the road at another
gig! Thanks so much to Dale for taking these
photos and to Sandyfor taking photos with my
camera, which through no fault of his, didn't turn out. Next time you go
fishin' and reel in a digital, don't be surprised.

| What
a fun time we had at "MEET RUTHIE NIGHT" at the Purple Crab!  Right after the gig, Ruthie & Lucie were off to a downtown hotel for 2 nights... just hangin' out, catchin' up, talkin' trash . . . then on Sunday afternoon rode the ferry to Victoria and stayed until Friday morning at our dear, dear friend Ann's! Then it was back to Vancouver for one more night at a hotel......we went for the in-room jacuzzi suite this time..... went all out...... had so many laughs, just ended the 10 days in high style! Big thanks to ACOUSTIC ECLECTIC FOLK ROCK DUO, 'DUX'! Excellent harmonies, high-energy guitars, Dux - Mike & Gary - played everything from Lyle Lovett to Eric Clapton to dare we say... Britney Spears' "Oops..." it was the best version we've ever heard! CLICK PIC to see All the Gig pictures |
