We had a busy weekend, 2 night gigs and 2 afternoon gigs. Lotsa running around.... Vancouver to Maple Ridge 3 times plus an in-town gig, and it was well worth it! We met some new people and saw some great old friends.

It all started Friday, October 24th, 2003 . . . at The Bad Ass Coffee Company

The Bad Ass Coffee Company has a cozy atmosphere and some real lovely folks. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped inside, it was great!

They saw our names in the paper advertising this gig,
and came to see if it might be the same Steve Elliott!

We look forward to playing The Bad Ass Coffee Company again,
and by the way, the coffee is GREAT!!

Saturday, October 25th, 2003 . . . Afternoon . . . Crumbs Bakery

We played at Crumbs Bakery in Maple Ridge, B.C. We had an afternoon slot from 1pm - 3 pm. People came and went, picking up cakes and other baked items, and some stayed for coffee and a treat. The place was bustling most of the afternoon, and we were set up by the front window, playing. We didn't take a single picture though, darn it. Snoozed on that one.

Sunday, October 26th, 2003 . . . Day . . . More Crumbs

This is Crumbs Bakery's 2nd location. We were invited to play the Sunday Brunch from noon-2 pm. It was low key and laid back, just how we felt too, so we had a good time! Met my dear friend Leslie's sister Tamy for the first time, that was fun! And finally was able to put a face to the voice on the phone, when I met Ernie Higgins for the first time. Ernie was in with his wife Anita, and he is responsible for booking us into all three Maple Ridge area locations this weekend. Thanks so much, Ernie! We really appreciate it!

This was our view from the stage...the sunlight washed this shot out...but front row from left is Tamy, Cody, and at the table next to them is Ernie

...and this is what the audience saw. This was a casual Sunday Brunch gig, sitting down made perfect sense after this weekend!

And a great time was had by all . . . what a weekend!
Thanks to everyone for coming out!
We sure do appreciate your support!
